Look Great in Leopard

In Entertainment on August 23, 2011 at 2:21 pm

Leopart print is hot again and better and brighter than ever! Each fall, we see the influx of leopard heels, blouses and cardigans, and this season is no different. Take a hint from Sarah Jessica Parker and Nicky Hilton (in their grey leopard jeans) and transition from summer to fall seamlessly by adding a few key animal print pieces to your wardrobe. Here are some of my favorite animal print items!

There is a rule to leopard print — and all animal print in general–too much is not a good thing. Never wear a leopard print jumper but do pair a leopard cardigan with a solid color pencil skirt and white blouse. Less is more here.

Storm to the top of the style stakes in Giuseppe Zanotti’s cutout suede sandals. The label cleverly balances a super high stiletto heel with a chunky concealed platform, ensuring this gravity-defying pair stay comfortable. Keep the terracotta hue center stage by wearing them with an understated palette.

Red Skinnies

In Fashion on August 12, 2011 at 3:57 pm

As seen on Hayden Panettiere, Alessandra Ambrosio, Ashley Tisdale, Leann Rimes, and Stacy Keibler, and Ashley Greene all stepped out in bright red skinnies and according to my source at the Blue Jean Bar in Los Angeles, these are the hottest trend right now! Red (hot) skinny jeans are the item to have and there is no limit to your choices. Here are some of my fave brands for red jeans.

Household Harmony

There is nothing worse than walking into your home to be smacked in the face with an assaulting scent. Equally as offensive is the musty smell of a closed up room or dirty bedroom. Nothing is relaxing or welcoming about nasty smells.

Diptyque Choisya Room Spray is the answer to these olfactory nightmares as this beautifully clean scent fills the air with the citrus-sweet aroma of Mexican orange blossoms. Pair with the a Choisya candle for intense and long-lasting fragrance. Say hello to a room smelling like heaven and goodbye to the musty atmosphere.

Must Have Mani

In Beauty on August 3, 2011 at 8:00 am

A little manicure goes a long way! Right now, I am ready to stash summer’s brighter hues for fresh fall shades. My fashion instinct draws me to deeper tones, like vampy reds, midnight greens and feminine greys, along with pretty neutrals and cool metallics, though I usually wait for the holidays to paint on anything too sparkly. To get more specific, I selected ten of my top polish picks, including the stunning shade that was used in Derek Lam’s fall show. Peruse the entire fab assortment, decide on a fave—it’s tough, I know!—then head to the nail salon ASAP to get a mah-jor mani!
